Verallia puts reliability at the heart of its financial communications
About Verallia
Verallia is the leading European and third-largest global producer of glass packaging for the food and beverage industry. Listed on Euronext Paris and part of the SBF 120 index, the Group operates 34 glass plants and 63 furnaces across Europe and Latin America, serving close to 11,000 customers worldwide with around 11,000 employees.
As a listed company, clear and reliable communication with investors, analysts and shareholders is an important part of Verallia’s financial communications strategy. Its financial calendar includes recurring, high-stakes moments such as quarterly financial results and its Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Making sure these communications reach the market clearly and reliably is part of the responsibility of Raphaël Rolland, Strategy, Investor Relations and Market Intelligence Manager at Verallia, and his team. We spoke with Raphaël about Verallia’s approach to financial communications, the evolution of its webcast experience and what makes a successful partnership.
The Challenge
For Raphaël and the Verallia team, reliability is essential.
The company regularly hosts quarterly financial results webcasts and its AGM, bringing together investors and analysts from markets including the UK, US, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
With these audiences joining remotely, Verallia needed a webcast partner it could trust to deliver consistently reliable events while supporting the specific requirements of financial communications and regulated investor engagement. A key requirement was the ability to distinguish between different types of attendees, particularly analysts and other participants, and manage their questions appropriately.
“The main advantage of your solution is the reliability. It’s really important for us.”
How Euronext Corporate Solutions supports Verallia
Verallia has worked with EngageStream, by Euronext Corporate Solutions, for several years across its quarterly results and AGM communications, including on-site technical production.
The introduction of the new EngageStream platform has made the process significantly easier — particularly through the AI Operator.
Previously, technical testing was limited to a short window immediately before a webcast, creating pressure for the team and management. With AI Operator, Verallia can complete checks and prepare much earlier, giving the team greater confidence before going live.
The post-event dashboard provides an additional layer of insight, helping management understand participation and engagement.
Reliability backed by people
For Verallia, technology is only part of the equation. The team values the expertise, responsiveness and flexibility of the Euronext Corporate Solutions team.
Technical tests ahead of recent AGMs have run smoothly, with no technical issues during the events. Last-minute requests have also been handled quickly, reinforcing Verallia’s confidence in the partnership.
“It’s more than just a supplier-client relationship. It's a partnership”
Looking ahead
As Verallia prepares for its upcoming Capital Markets Day, the company is exploring how Euronext Corporate Solutions could support not only the webcast itself, but also post-event engagement and measurement.
For Verallia, the priority remains clear: using technology and expertise to make financial communications more reliable, controlled and stress-free.
